Instructions for sending plain text mail and/or turning off HTML in Lotus Notes

  1. Go to File small arrow Mobile small arrow Edit Current Location small arrow Mail tab.
  2. Go to *Format for messages addressed to Internet addresses*.
  3. Select MIME instead of Rich Text Format.

  1. Go to File small arrow Preferences.
  2. Go to User Preferences small arrow Mail and News icon.
  3. Choose Plain Text under "Internet message format" or "Internet news format."
