If you prefer to change a single message to plain text follow the instructions below:
- Compose and address the e-mail.
- Go to Edit
Select All and highlight the entire message.
- Right-click over the highlighted text.
- From the menu choose Text
Normal.
- Send the message making sure you make no further changes to it.
or if you prefer:
- Go to the top menu marked Settings.
- Click on Preferences
Mail.
- Make sure the mail options marked *show white headers* and *show addresses as hyperlinks* are not checked.
